Neri&Hu x De La Espada
In autumn 2025, a series of events in Porto celebrated De La Espada's enduring partnership with Neri&Hu and welcomed new members of their October collection.

LECTURE
On October 27, Neri&Hu co-founders Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu lectured at the Serralves Museum, Porto. They discussed how “interdisciplinary” is often recast as a new buzzword, while arguing that its foundational tenets were in fact established a century ago by movements including the Bauhaus and Art Nouveau.
“OCTOBER” EXHIBITION
From October 29 - Novemer 28, a special exhibition entitled “October” was presented at Galeria De La Espada. The exhibition included a retrospective of 12 years of Neri&Hu seating for De La Espada, and previewed new members of the October collection including a dining table and an armless dining chair. “October” showcased the evolution of our partnership and the design thinking that has earned the Shanghai-based interdisciplinary architecture studio international acclaim.
