LEGEND OF TSVETNOY APARTMENT

The Legend of Tsvetnoy residential complex, located at the intersection of Tsvetnoy and Rozhdestvensky boulevards at the center of Moscow, offers panoramic views of the city. An apartment within designed by ARCH(E)TYPE BUREAU led by Daria Belyakova emphasises these views through its layout and finishes.

Mirrored surfaces in the interior, including a central "golden cube" lined with brass panels, reflect the cityscape, thus bringing the outdoors in and increasing the perceived spaciousness of the residence. The “golden cube” nods to the numerous golden cupolas of Moscow's churches and bell towers, reflecting the city in yet another way. The kitchen, living room, dining room and glazed study are located around this central feature, with the kitchen and guest bathroom inside.

The abundant use of metal and reflective surfaces is softened by warm materials and textures including tactile lime plaster walls, hand-tinted oak flooring, natural textiles, and stone accents.

De La Espada furniture crafted in solid hardwood brings further warmth to the home with products including Solo Desk and Solo Dining Chair by Neri & Hu, and Coniston Round Mirror and McQueen Bedside Chest by Matthew Hilton.
