Lower East Side Apartment is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence located in a new construction development in New York's Lower East Side neighbourhood. Designed for 2 young adults as a place to call home during the school year, the interiors by Elizabeth Roberts Architects are utilitarian and modern with playful accents. Furnishings combine natural materials including solid wood and rattan with the industrial edge of wire metal and brass. An artful use of neon lighting on a feature wall, with a few simple gestures, creates a focal point for the open-plan living/dining room and bathes the space in a soft, blush coloured light. Vibrant pops of colour and expressive, tactile fabrics offset a largely understated colour palette, while an abundance of plant life mirrors the greenery found in the park across the street. The dining area includes Solo Oblong Table designed by Neri&Hu and crafted by De La Espada.
