Union Square Loft is an avant-garde home that reflects the client’s creative sensibilities. Designed by Elizabeth Roberts Architects, the residence features a bright and natural materials palette, beautiful detailing, and sweeping views over New York City. The cityscape is a defining feature throughout the home, with both the combined living/dining/kitchen area and the private bedroom located along the wall of generously sized sash windows, and the semi-private bedroom on the mezzanine level encircled by apertures that bring in the views and accompanying natural light.

A large custom bookshelf offers both hidden and open storage to keep the space feeling serene while displaying art objects, books, and mementos. Complementing the natural wood flooring and white walls are thoughtful accents in stone, from the Calacatta Viola backsplash in the kitchen, to the custom onyx sink in the master bathroom, to the sculptural furniture throughout including the dining table and lighting, and Laurel Side Table designed by Luca Nichetto and crafted by De La Espada.
