SPECIFICATION
Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes with marble top and a choice of timber or marble legs. Marble options include Carrara marble, Black Marquina marble, Rosa Negrais marble, or Ataija Creme limestone. See menus below for further material information.

NOTE: When used in large planar applications, such as the top of a dining table, our Ataija Creme limestone will display more prominently the natural grain variations and other small marks such as fissures that lend each piece individuality and character. Fissures are naturally occurring in our limestone and are filled in production with a clear epoxy resin to restore the stone's tensile strength while retaining the character of the mark./p>

Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by a creative partner and rigorously engineered with the support of our in-house product development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime.

Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.

Stone is from quarries in Spain, Portugal, or Italy. Natural colour and grain variations make each piece an individual.

Solid wood is an expression of the life of a tree, grown for at least 30 years, and the weather patterns it experienced, the absorption of sunshine and minerals. The tree is imbued with meaning, and this meaning is transferred to the piece of furniture it becomes.

Our planks are cut in a way that honours the growth rings and grain, making them clearly visible.

AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT

Our American black walnut is from the midwestern United States. This is a prized hardwood with luxuriously figurative grain patterns and great strength. The walnut tree is relatively small, and the dark heartwood is surrounded by sap wood that is blond in colour.

Our American black walnut timber is available in a choice of oil finishes.

White oiled walnut

Our Danish oil, white oil, and black oil finishes provide a renewable surface for enduring beauty. Damage can be repaired with relative ease, as the timber can be reapplied with wax or oil at any moment.
